Resource Library

Blair Wigley, Digital Development Officer and Anthony Bieniak, Digital Campaigner, worked in the CFMEU National Office for four years developing innovative technologies for digital recruitment. Anthony and Blair presented on Data Campaigning for Recruitment — looking at how to combine data with digital tools to produce usable recruitment lists, and how automated tools can help to turn a ‘maybe’ into a new member.

For many unions the first three years of membership are when members are most at-risk of leaving.

The second presentation in this workshop will explore marketing automation tools that can be used in combination with insights about members to craft efficient and effective onboarding and member journeys. Features Geecel Tiu, the CRM and Digital Marketing Manager and Stephen Gargano who is the Director – Member Engagement at Professionals Australia. They lead Professionals Australia’s marketing and engagement team. Their work focuses on how to recreate the organising experience through online platforms. Geecel and Stephen explore Mapping the Member Lifecycle — on how marketing automation and membership segmentation can be used to build tailored journeys throughout the member lifecycle.
