The ATUI is proud to offer Masterclasses in 2024, featuring leading advocacy experts and practitioners.
STRATEGIC CAMPAIGNING
The ATUI was excited to welcome prominent American union strategic campaigner and educator, Teresa Conrow, to Australia to conduct a special one-time-only masterclass on strategic campaigning.
Teresa has worked with unions throughout the world on global and local strategic organising campaigns for over 40 years. She is the author of numerous labour books, articles, and curricula, and is on the Advisory Committee of the UCLA Labor Center.
Participants had the opportunity to work closely with Teresa on applying learned skills to an existing or developing campaign, relative to their union, throughout the course of the week.

ADVOCACY
This Masterclass was aimed at refreshing and building advocacy capability and preparing participants to advocate effectively in a shifting environment.
Coordinated by His Honour Justice Iain Ross AO, the program ran across two consecutive afternoons, and feature leading advocacy experts and practitioners, with opportunities for participants to network.
