Summary

Commissioned by BHP Steel International Group, this film shows underground mining at the Cordeaux Colliery in the Illawarra region of New South Wales.  This film highlights modern coal extraction methods, ventilation and dust suppression techniques, roof support techniques and a modern longwall mining operation.
