Summary
Rare footage of the 1988 State Coal Mine Re-union, held at the Eastern Area Tourist Mine. Group interview with Tullio Moresco, Alan Birt and another colleague talk about strike organisation and some of the gains such as sick pay and holiday pay. They also recount the wheat harvest and how strikes would be provoked to shut down the mine. The miners highlight the fact that other unions copied the Wonthaggi strike techniques.
