Summary

This is a short video presentation of the MUA book launch of Lisa Milner’s Fighting Films [1], a history of the legendary MUA Film Unit of the 1950s. Event speakers include Paddy Crumlin, MUA National Secretary, actor Jack Thompson, the author Lisa Milner, as well as the filmmakers Norma Disher and Jock Levy.  The presentation includes excerpts from the films of the MUA Film Unit as well as the documentary Film-work (1981) by John Hughes.
