Learning Outcomes:

At the end of this course participants will be able to:

  • Describe the role of a workplace union delegate;
  • Talk to workers about joining the union;
  • Organise their workplace;
  • Identify and recruit workplace activists;
  • Explain workers’ rights and entitlements in a specific context;
  • Analyse clauses in industrial awards and agreements; and
  • Support union members to solve problems.
