This webinar provided affiliates with a clear understanding of how occupational violence and aggression presents across different workplaces, and why it is an increasing work health and safety risk. Participants gain practical insight into the types of interventions and controls that can be implemented to prevent and manage these risks, with a focus on what is effective in real workplace settings. The session also include case studies from unions including guest HSRs presenters, highlighting strategies, campaigns and approaches that have been used to address occupational violence and support workers. The session is designed to equip participants with the knowledge, language and practical examples needed to engage with employers and support members to prevent workplace violence and aggression.
