  • Identify the effects of BSHD on individual workers and the workplace environment;
  • Discuss barriers and opportunities to organise workers around creating a BSHD-free workplace;
  • Identify the legislation around BSHD; Discuss what research is telling us about the triggers of BSHD within workplaces are;
  • Describe how workers can initiate a campaign around tackling BSHD at work;
  • Discuss what a preventive approach would look like; Identify the steps in a planning framework;
  • Use an organising approach to build Union WHS structures & processes;
  • Describe how workers and their representatives can interact with the regulators to assist in their organising strategy;
  • Develop an organising plan; and
  • Use an organising plan approach to build Union WHS structures, empower workers and grow our movement.
