Campaign Conversations For Yes

This year the union movement has the chance to make history by campaigning for a “Yes” vote in the upcoming referendum.

After over 65,000 years of continuous culture, it’s time Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are recognised in our 122-year-old Constitution. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people want recognition in a practical form by having a say on issues and policies that impact their lives.

This free workshop is open to all unionists and community members who want to be part of the Unions for YES campaign!

This workshop will focus on the key campaign messages and how you can have the most effective conversations to persuade your workmates, friends, neighbours, and fellow community members to vote YES!

It will cover common objections and prepare you with all the responses to them that we know work best.

The workshop will also give you an overview of the Uluru Statement from the Heart and why the Voice is so important as a first step towards Voice, Treaty, and Truth.
